Anti-peroxide Enzyme 

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION: A catalyst enzyme with high activity and with a wide pH range

PROPERTIES : * Used to remove hydrogen peroxide before dyeing at bleaching baths.

* ERCOLASE AP-100 does not effect dyes since it is only effective on hydrogen peroxide. Therefore, it prevent colour differences that likely occur due to reducing agents.

* Since it shortens the pre-dyeing time, it saves time and energy.

* It is fully biologically decomposed.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: - pH : 3.0 – 9.0 ( optimum operating pH : 7.0 )

- Temperature : 30 – 60 0 C ( optimum operating temperature : 50-55 0 C )

- Time : 10 – 20 minutes

- Dosage : 0.1 – 0.5 g / lt.

- Bleaching bath is emptied.

- Water for dye bath is drawn, pH and temperature are checked.

- If temperature is below 60 0 C and pH is between 3.0 to 9.0, enzym is introduced and fabric is circulated.

- Peroxide is checked after 10 minutes. If there is still peroxide, circulation is continued for another 10-15 minutes.

- When peroxide is exhausted, dyeing in the same bath may begin. pH must be adjusted before dyeing.

- Though dosage is recommended, final dosage must be determined during practice.

STORAGE : 6 months in a cool and dry place, not under direct sun light, below 25 0 C

PACKAGING : Plastic drums of 25 and 60 kg .

ERCOSIL KT-LIKIT

Feather Removing Enzyme

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION: ERCOSIL KT-LIKIT is an enzyme with high effect on cellulose, obtained from the inner membrane of plant skins.

PROPERTIES : * Used for fabrics woven from cotton and other cellulose fibers.

* Gives a soft brightness to fabric by removing feather, pile and other broken fibers on the fabric.

* May be used before and after dyeing.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE: * A new enzyme developed to provide smoothness on cellulose fabric during the final finish.

* Used in knitted and woven fabric (cotton, cotton/PES Linen and Chineese Fiber, other cellulose fabrics)

* The effects of ERCOSIL KT-LIKIT on fabric quality:

- Feathers, piles and un-wanted waste are removed

- A soft and smooth feel is obtained

- A good appearance and a bright colour is obtained

- These properties prevent any loss of hydrophility

APPLICATION : Dosage :0.5-2.0% of enzyme depending on fabric type

Optimum pH : 4.5 – 5.5
Optimum temperature : 45-55 º C
Application time : 30-60 minutes
Heather : If desired

Note : for pH adjusment, acetic acid or sodium acetate is used. In order to prevent loss of weight on the fabric, pH is finally adjusted to 9-10 by sodium carbonate.
Generally, when the desired result is obtained, loss of weight is about 3-5 %.
